Option (1) for implementation of WebPoint requires a medium speed, reliable connection between the Intouch server at a client site and the Intouch Data hosting center in Santa Barbara, California;
The significant features of this implementation are;
- Uses existing hardware and system setup by Intouch.
- Requires a medium speed connection, on a specified port, between Client site and Intouch Data Center, via the Internet. Data travelling over this connection is encrypted, with either a proprietary encryption protocol or a stronger, standards-based protocol, depending upon requirements.
Payment processing for this system can be performed using Mercury hosted at;
- Santa Barbara, via Intouch´s direct link to PaymentTech´s facility in Tampa, Florida or to other customised interface to banks in Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
